When you request an estimate, we collect your name, organisation, work email, service required, site or property details, and description of the work. You may also provide photos. If you leave feedback, we collect the work and rating details you submit, your publication preference, and your work email so the submission can be verified. Our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as an IP address, browser details, and request time in server logs. The website forms also use a one-way identifier derived from the request IP address to limit automated submissions; only recent submission timestamps are considered.
We use enquiry information to assess the work, respond, arrange a visit, prepare an estimate, prevent misuse of the form, and keep appropriate records if you become a client. Feedback is used to improve the service and, only in the form you authorise, may be published as a testimonial. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interests in managing genuine business enquiries and protecting the website, consent where you authorise publication, and legal obligations where record keeping is required. We do not use the forms for automated decisions or add you to a marketing list.
We do not sell or rent personal information. It is processed by our website hosting and email providers on our behalf. We may share relevant details with vetted specialist contractors, professional advisers, insurers, or public authorities where this is necessary to assess or deliver the work, protect a legal right, or meet a legal obligation.
Optional photos are checked for permitted image types and attached to the enquiry email; temporary upload files are not intentionally retained by the website after processing. Please do not upload sensitive documents or images unrelated to the work. We keep enquiries only while they are being assessed and for as long as reasonably needed for client service, dispute, warranty, insurance, accounting, or legal purposes. Records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required.
